Tourism Minister Obie Wilchcombe Welcomes Rotarians

NASSAU, The Bahamas — Minister of Tourism the Hon. Obie Wilchcombe, pictured at the podium, welcomed a large group of Rotarians from The Bahamas and countries around the world, at a luncheon at Atlantis recently. Visiting The Bahamas was Rotary International President R. N. Ravindran. There are 400 Rotary service club members in The Bahamas, since the organization got started in Nassau as Rotary Club of Nassau in 1962. While in Nassau, International President Ravindran, seated centre in second photo, witnessed the unveiling of Rotary Clubs’ ‘Road To Peace’ monument at the entrance of the Thomas A.
