Biography

RENARDO CURRY, M.P., NORTH ABACO
PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY IN THE OFFICE OF THE PRIME MINISTER

About Me: Mr. Curry was born on July 25th, 1974. He is married to Tameka Curry and they have two kids together, Reniah and Reniqua. He is also a member of Bethany Gospel Chapel.

Education: Mr. Curry received his early education at Marsh Harbor Primary School and Catholic High School in Freeport, Grand Bahama. He then went on to complete his tertiary education at Palm Beach Community College, Success Training College and Everest University. He obtained an Associates Degree in Accounts Management. He is currently completing a Bachelors Degree in Finance and Accounts Management at the University of Wales and Walden’s University respectively.

Civics/Social: Mr. Curry is currently the Deacon at a local church in North Abaco where he also serves as the Youth Director. He is the former Chairman of Murphy Town Township and a former Council Member of the Central Abaco District Council. He is also involved in youth development programs throughout the Murphy Town community.

Professional/Career: Mr. Curry is currently the owner of a Snack Food Restaurant and Resolve Construction and Maintenance Company. He is also the General Manager of Florida Yacht Charters (Bahamas). He has been extensively involved in the marine industry and has ten years of account managerial experience under his belt.

As the Member of Parliament for North Abaco, Mr. Curry plans to place emphasis on job creation programmes through central and local government projects. This would also include the establishment of a job placement programme for college graduates. He also plans to push for the establishment of a technical learning institution such as BTVI on Abaco. He also plans to support National Health Insurance.
