NASSAU, The Bahamas – Minister of National Security the Hon. Dr. Bernard Nottage, seated centre, addressed the press at Odyssey Aviation Bahamas, LPIA, on May 13, 2016 upon completion of Exercise ‘Marlin Shield,’ expressing appreciation on behalf of the Bahamas Government for the partnership that made the initiative possible. The Exercise is a joint military drill in which The Royal Bahamas Defence Force, US Northern Command, and US Special Operations Command North completed maritime and land-based training to improve inter-operability in regional security. Training under Exercise ‘Marlin Shield’ going forward aims to increase effectiveness in response to national and regional security threats and natural disasters.
