Private Aircraft Declarations - The Bahamas Customs Department

 PLEASURE AIRCRAFT (Digital Process)

Under the Customs regulations, this form of declaration is applicable only to private aircraft not carrying cargo and operated for pleasure and recreation only by a pilot who is not flying for reward or remuneration or for business purposes. Other aircraft must be reported on the General Declaration Form No C7.

Eligibility

Pilots flying pleasure crafts operated for pleasure and recreation only. Pleasure Crafts arriving Under It’s Own Power or Pleasure Crafts Imported by a Bona-Fide Visitor.  

Process

  1. Log into Click2Clear’s Pleasure Aircraft Module selecting the link displayed as ‘Air Craft‘ beneath the log in fields.
  2. Select ‘Create Inbound‘ and complete all tabs from right to left starting with the Header tab and ending with the Summary tab.
  3. Select ‘Payment‘ from the menu on the right and search for your voyage using the Rotation Number and Vessel Registration number.
  4. Once payment is made, a copy of the processed form (C7A Inward Declaration & Cruising Permit For Private Aircraft Entering the Bahamas) can be printed from the system using the ‘Search Inbound‘ option, entering your rotation number and vessel registration, selecting the three dots when the record is found and selecting the ‘Print’ from the drop down options. (Please note that this feature is only available after payment.)
  5. You can then depart for your chosen destination within The Bahamas where approval will take place. An officer must stamp and sign your document for it to be legalized.

  • COVID-19 Travel Visas for Passengers and Crew.

Deadline

This process must be completed within 24 hours after arrival into the Bahamas.

Related Fee(s)

  • All Pleasure Air Crafts – $50.00 (Processing Fee)
  • Departure Tax – $29.00 per Passenger (Applicable to all passengers including infants.)
  • Private Chartered Flights: $75.00 (per Inbound & Outbound)

Once the Aircraft leaves The Bahamas, another Inward Declaration is necessary to return.

All air crafts entering The Bahamas from a foreign port.

Turn-around time

24 hours

Deadline

This process must be completed within 24 hours after arrival into The Bahamas. No passengers or crew are to disembark until process is completed.

PLEASURE AIRCRAFT (Manual Process)

Under the Customs regulations, this form of declaration is applicable only to private aircraft not carrying cargo and operated for pleasure and recreation only by a pilot who is not flying for reward or remuneration or for business purposes. Other aircraft must be reported on the General Declaration Form No C7.

This form should be presented in triplicate at all Ports of Entry other then Nassau, West End and Freeport, where two copies will be sufficient.

Eligibility

Pilots flying pleasure crafts operated for pleasure and recreation only. Pleasure Crafts arriving Under It’s Own Power or Pleasure Crafts Imported by a Bona-Fide Visitor.  

Process

  1. Complete the required forms
  2. Present forms to the Customs Officer at the point of arrival at your port of entry in The Bahamas.
  3. Once the form is processed, a copy of the processed form (C7A Inward Declaration & Cruising Permit For Private Aircraft Entering the Bahamas) will be given to you.
